Attic clearance preparing for conversion

There was limited head height, poor access, cream carpeting in the entrance hall and no loft ladder.

We cleared the loft of all junk which had accumulated over the last 10 years. We removed prams, boxes and packaging as well as removing the insulation between the beams. As there was no flooring to speak of we had do a risk assessment and approach the job with extreme caution. Our staff were in full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including respirators. The items were removed carefully and dust sheets put down to reduce dust and dirt through the house.

The attic clearance allowed the builders to accurately quote and complete the loft conversion into two bedrooms and a shower room. The owner was impressed by the approach we took and referred us to the builder who used us to remove the renovation debris through the entire job. We removed and disposed of renovation debris, timber, slate, dry wall and carpeting for them.
