The Junk-It Scotland company was created to provide a completely above board rubbish removal service which until that point didn’t seem to exist. We now have operating centres across the country (mainly focused in Glasgow and Edinburgh) and are proud to work alongside many of the country’s leading brands and public sector bodies offering swift efficient rubbish and junk removal.
We are a professional and fully insured Junk Removal service specialising in House Clearances and Office Clearances thought Scotland.
Uniformed and Trained Staff
Our friendly uniformed truck teams do all the heavy lifting and loading and we only charge for the space your items take up in the back of the trucks. We can provide a same day service and promise to show up within a pre agreed 2 hour time window, calling you 20 minutes prior to our arrival.

We offer a completely transparent costing structure and dispose of the items we collect in an as environmentally friendly manner as possible.
Environmentally friendly Junk Removal…
We now work alongside a number of worthwhile charitable organisations, donating multiple truck loads of useable furniture each week. In addition we decided only to ever purchase new, low emission vehicles to reduce our carbon footprint and donate annually to the Woodland Trust in order to offset any emissions that we do produce.
Junk-It Scotland are Scottish Green Award Winners and ISO14401 accredited and have twice been finalists in National Recycling Awards for Waste Management Company of the Year.
Our aim is to remove the heartache from Junk Removal, be that physical due to having to load a skip yourself or emotional by having to clearing the contents of a loved one’s home. Our service exists to remove the stress.

What does the price include?
All prices include: labour, loading, recycling, transfer station fees and a comprehensive clean up of the area.
What happens to my junk?
It is taken back to our Ibrox depot for sorting and then redistributed to local charities, recycled, or sent to landfill as appropriate.
How do you charge?
Based on volume. You only pay for the amount of space that your junk takes up in the back of one of our vehicles.
Are you insured?
Yes we have full public and employer liability insurance and we are registered as licensed waste carriers with the Scottish Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA).
How big are your trucks?
14 cubic yards.The Equivalent to 2 domestic skips.
Do I have to be at the premises for you to do the job?
No. Not so long as we have access to the site, a price for the job has been agreed, and we have a means of taking your payment such as a credit card number.
How do I pay?
All our Junk-It Scotland vans carry chip & pin terminals. You can also pay by cash or cheque. Accounts (for invoicing) can generally be made available upon request.
